The shareholders of Geo-Energie Suisse AG comprise of several Swiss energy supply companies that aim to achieve a breakthrough in the production of geothermal electricity and heat in Switzerland.

Geo-Energie Suisse AG works closely with the participating energy suppliers to combine expertise and resources for the development of this nacent technology, thereby creating a common basis for broadly supporting the economic and technical risks.

The principal objective of Geo-Energie Suisse AG is to develop pilot projects to demonstrate the technical feasibility of deep geothermal power plants in the medium term and their economic viability in the long term. At the same time, we aim to promote understanding and acceptance of deep geothermal energy among the general public.
