In addition to establishing deep geothermal energy as an environmentally friendly, domestic and always available base load energy, Geo-Energie Suisse AG is working on a modified technology for the creation of underground heat storage; so-called geo-storage. Geo-storage enables us to maintain a balance of supply and demand throughout the whole year due to seasonal heat storage and therefore significantly reduce the primary energy requirement.
